Sony Ericsson rolls out Xperia X10 pinch-to-zoom update

Sony Ericsson has rolled out a minor update to Xperia X10. The update is pinch to zoom multi touch for Xperia X10.
This update is available via OTA. Also some of the other noticeable features included are Pinch and zoom touch in browser and Google Maps (X10 only), and better language support.


The high light of the update:
Moxier in an updated version (2.7.13) that includes a great overview widget for e-mail, calendar and tasks.
Moxier e-mail shown in Timescape.
ANT+ support
Possibilities of trimming videos in the phone.
Videos are transcoded to fit into MMS-messages even if they were recorded in high quality.
Minor changes to Mediascape with access to “Now Playing” in the top right corner.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo set to launch at MWC

Sony Ericsson will soon launch a new smartphone in Xperia range, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo. Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and powered by 1GHz processor.

Xperia Neo will feature a full touchscreen display with 854×480 pixels resolution, 8.1-megapixel camera with EXMOR technology and single LED flash, front facing camera, 720p video recording,and TimeScape UI.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo other feature include 512 MB RAM, 300 MB internal memory, WiFi connectivity, USB port, 1500 mAh battery, and microSD card slot.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo will be showcased at MWC 2011.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc now on pre order in UK

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc will be available in the UK from the 1st of April 2011, and it will available for £459.99 SIM free through online retailer Play’s.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc features a 4.2 inch multitouch display, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and an 8.1 megapixel camera with a Sony Exmor R sensor, 720p HD video playback.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc also features a 1GHz Qualcomm processor and 512MB of RAM, microSD card slot, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and a microHDMI port.

Sony Ericsson MT15i/Halon aka Vivaz 2 Previewed

Sony Ericsson MT15i/Halon aka Vivaz 2 which is the successor to the Sony Ericsson Vivaz is powered by Android 2.3 aka Gingerbread.
Sony Ericsson MT15i/Halon features a large 4 inch screen and supports a higher 480×854 pixels resolution, 8 Megapixel EXMOR camera equipped with LED flash capable of recording HD videos, front video call camera.

Vivaz 2 also has 3.5mm audio jack, HDMI port, microUSB port, 1500 mAh Battery Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 512MB RAM, Qualcomm MSM7630 800 Mhz processor, 300 MB internal memory, and microSD Card Slot.

Vivaz 2 is expected to be announced in Mobile World Congress.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro successor leaked

A Chinese forum known as IT168 has posted specifications and some new images of the SE Xperia X10 Mini Pro successor leaked.

It is reported that the phone comes with Android 2.3, a 3-inch 320×480 pixels multi-touch display, slide out QWERTY keyboard, 1GHz or 800 MHz CPU (not confirmed yet), and Adreno 205 GPU. The Xperia X10 Mini Pro successor is also capable to record HD videos.

Xperia X10 Mini Pro successor might launch in MWC next month.
